About Meagan
What do I do at South Abby: I am the Next Gen. Ministries Assistant, working with Children's, Youth, and Young Adults Ministries. Being to help with and engage with these important ministries is exciting and one of my favourite things about calling South Abby home.
A bit about me: I was born and raised in Abbotsford, in a Christian home. I have parents, two older brothers, two sisters-in-law, and the best nieces and nephews ever! I also have a cuddly cat, named Wookie, who acts as my alarm clock. And an energetic dog named Indiana Bones, the best camping buddy I can ask for!
How long have I been at South Abby: I started attending here in 2021. Currently, I have engaged in life groups as well as a Youth Leader for Grade 11 Girls.
One thing people don't know about me: I was president of the Pen and Paper Tabletop Club at UFV for 3 years. A club dedicated to tabletop games ranging from Dutch Blitz and Uno to D'n'D. I also have a large collection of Legend of Zelda, Star Wars & Lord of the Rings memorabilia.
A few of my favourite things: There are many hobbies that make up my free time, including but not limited to: volunteering with museums, camping, hiking, running various tabletop games and reading (and having to get more bookshelves after a Chapters run.)
