About Liv
As Worship Arts and Young Adults Intern, my role and privilege is to work alongside Pastor Ajay to both learn pastoral skills and lead worship in the SAC community. As well as taking on leadership responsibilities within our Young Adults ministry. I have a deep-rooted love for worship and the unity it brings, accompanied by a deeper love for Christ and His Church.
I am originally from London, Ontario, and grew up being involved heavily at church, summer camp, and in extracurricular activities for my academics. I discovered my passion for music when I was around 6 years old. My love for music and for Jesus eventually combined when I was 13; I started leading worship at my church back home. From there, my passion for ministry only grew and this is what led me to apply and attend Columbia Bible College in 2021. Throughout my time spent here in Abbotsford, I have grown to find a family and home here at SAC. Being involved in Young Adults and in Worship ministry has blessed me with a family of encouragers, support in my weakest moments, and confident faith in Jesus.
I am now entering my third year of studies at Columbia to obtain my degree in Practical Theology majoring in Worship Arts and minoring in Biblical Studies. Through this time I will be heavily active in the life of the church and am looking forward to a wonderful year of mentorship and leadership development through Pastor Ajay and the staff here at SAC.
When I'm not at the church or in a classroom, you can probably find me where people are! I love meeting new faces and hearing the stories people have to share, typically over good coffee. Whether alone or with company, I also enjoy songwriting, playing piano, listening to a new album from my favourite artist, longboarding, reading, art of any kind, and being in nature.
