Tell Me More About Life Groups

Our Vision for Life Groups: 

A group of 5-15 people who form the basic unit of Christian community. It functions to provide a place where members gather weekly around the presence of Christ, support one another as a family, reach out to those far from God, and mentor and release new leaders, all of which results in the multiplication of groups as others are added.

Let’s take a closer look at the four key functions of Life Groups:

UPWARD- LOVING GOD
Life Groups are the place where we corporately come together into the presence of Christ. Life Groups must develop an expectancy to corporately connect with God; that his presence and power will permeate everything that happens during our time together.

INWARD: LOVING EACH OTHER
Life Groups are the primary way in which we can find community. In small groups with face-to-face interaction we can find the support, encouragement and care that we are looking for. Our meetings are designed to tear away hidden agendas and apply God’s life-giving Word to our real needs in the grind of daily life.

OUTWARD: REACHING THE LOST
Evangelism is only effective in direct proportion to establishing and cultivating meaningful relationships with others! Life Groups cheer us on in outreach and provide the natural setting to bring seekers to see what Christian community actually looks like.

FORWARD: DISCIPLESHIP AND MENTORING LEADERS
Life Groups are dedicated to integrating others, giving opportunity to lead people to faith in Christ and model what it looks like to walk with Christ. .Within the context of relationships, new believers are discipled, new leaders are mentored, and new groups are launched.
