 South Abbotsford Church

Following hard after Jesus, becoming like Him, turning people to God,
and engaging in the extraordinary life He gives

Service Time

Sundays at 10am

At South Abbotsford Church, our desire if that every believer would not just attend church, but also hear from God daily through His Word!  We believe that doing daily devotions re-patterns the way we think, turns our hearts towards God, and helps us to become more like Him!

Reading Plan Options

There are many different Read-through options. At South Abbotsford, we are following the Old/New Testament reading plan found on Bible Gateway.  If you would like something different, why not try chronological, or historical. You can find these plans and more if you click here.

Want to go deeper?

This year we're trying something different.  We are following a method called SOAP.  It's designed to help you connect to and apply your daily reading.

Click here and you will find a template on how to SOAP.  Grab a pen, a blank journal and use the template as a guide on how to set up your own journal.

There is a SOAP Journal app available on the iTunes store for $1.99 if you enjoy reading your bible and journaling on your mobile device - no pen or paper needed!

Click here to download a reading schedule.

What is SOAP?

It’s very easy to learn, and will serve as a template to help you dig deeper into what God’s word has to say for you. Start off by reading the scheduled passages for the day.  If something speaks to your heart - stop there and start journaling!  If you follow along with the SOAP reading plan provided, you will finish reading through the Bible in one year.

S for scripture
