Baptism
As Anabaptists, we believe that baptism is a public declaration of a choice to follow Jesus Christ. We hold baptisms throughout the year and encourage people, both young and old, to take this step after dedicating their life to Jesus Christ.
To be baptized at South Abbotsford Church, you will be part of a baptism class that covers topics such as:
* new life in Christ
* growing in Christ
* communion
* baptism
* what happens when someone is saved
* writing and presenting your testimony
You will also be part of a membership class that will discuss:
* introduction to our history and current staff
* our mission, covenant statements, core ministry values and vision
* living together in a new family
* Mennonite Brethren heritage
* out statement of faith
* our ministry structure
* our member release policy
* spiritual gifts and ministries

This is for all who have been baptized upon confession of their faith and have a personal faith in God through salvation in Christ Jesus. Please pick up an application form at the Info Booth or at the office.
