Ministry-at-a-Glance

Primary Ministry Focus:
The King’s Foundation uses sport as a platform to introduce children to Christ, develop the emotional and physical capacities of children and teach foundational values that will enable future generations of Batswana to develop into contributing citizens of Botswana and be successful in life. In order for sports outreach programs to be sustainable local leaders need to be developed – we thus focus a lot of our time and resources on leadership training programs.

Major Challenges:
It is rare to find local self starting individuals who are motivated to undertake selfless ministry initiatives in Botswana. Many of our regular volunteers come from neighbouring countries. Rural communities are starting to embrace our sports outreach programs but we are unable to address all requests due to stretched resources.

Prayer Focus:

• Pray for me personally as I step in to the role of overseeing all details of The King’s Foundation’s work in Botswana.
• Responsibility of managing local leaders and ministry finances rests solely on my shoulders now.
• Pray that I may continue to trust God in all areas of my life.
