 South Abbotsford Church

Following hard after Jesus, becoming like Him, turning people to God,
and engaging in the extraordinary life He gives

Service Time

Sundays at 9am & 11am

"Carry each others burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2

Our lives have been transformed through Jesus' mercy, grace and love. Following His example, we find it an honor and privilege to serve our church family and our community with care and love.

Prayer is a way we can lift up and hold one another in God's healing presence - trusting Him to bring renewed hope.  If we can serve you in any way, please contact Pastor Connie

Practical Care

Sometimes life's circumstances lead to rough patches where a little extra help is needed.  We have a Relief Pantry stocked with a few basics that help to meet some immediate needs.  If you are needing further assistance please contact us.

We will ask you to fill out a request form to provide us with the details of your need and your picture I.D.  Because our church is not a government assisted agency and resources are donations from our congregation, all requests will be subject to an approval process.

Food Is Love

If you know of someone who has experienced a loss, is going through a tough time, or maybe just had a baby and could use a home cooked meal, we would love to help.

Our women's ministry has created Food is Love so we can show love through cooking for families in need.  Click here for more instruction on Food Is Love, and what we can do to help.

Ill & Shut-In – Visitation and Phone Ministry

Please let us know if you are ill or shut-in or lonely.  We will arrange someone from our care team to call or visit you.  Please contact us or call 604-853-2663.

Please also let us know if you are aware of someone needing a call or a visit.

Deacons are members of our congregation who assist the Caring Ministry Pastor in meeting needs of others. These range from practical needs of food, counsel or financial aid to visiting people during times of illness or crisis.

The Deacons also meet with baptismal candidates to hear their testimonies and prepare the elements for communion.
